It is a statue to Mintoff that will not be erected at Castile Square.

There will, however, be a memorial to Mintoff there and the government has asked for suggestions.

They have flogged the optimist/negative mantra, lost the credibility race, sank into corruption on a large scale and so it’s inevitable.

During PN governments we didn’t have any controversial issues that required discussion with the European Commission and in other forums.
