After having been an ambassador? Whatever it is, the new job will have to match the cocktail parties, the chauffeured dinners, and the diplomatic passport. Oh and the salary.

Plus MEPA is full of Maltese clods. Not really Marisa Micallef’s idea of a satisfying job environment.

Well, yes, do you see now? Look at the date: 2009. Six years ago, when the UK director/Malta Tourism Authority job she had demanded went to Alex Incorvaja, who had years of experience in the hotels/tourism trade.
