Yes, but unfortunately I am a rational person. So if somebody complains about the ordeal of commuting from Gozo to and from a job on the mainland, the solution is staring me right in the face: move to the mainland. You’re not obliged to live in Gozo. People move right out of Malta for the work they want to do. They don’t take a flight there and back every day.

There’s a simple solution: sell your house in Gozo and buy one in Malta.

Move to where the work is. It’s what the rest of the world does.

Life is about choices: you want to live in Gozo, you have to make the crossing.

You don’t want to make the crossing, you move to Malta.

Insisting on living in Gozo and complaining that you have to cross to Malta makes no sense.
