Muscat isn’t a ‘complete’ idiot. He knew exactly how that wreath should have been positioned.

However, you will notice that the steps of the monument are relatively high, and due to a combination of tight clothing, excess weight and lack of flexibility, you can see how he awkwardly positions himself to place the wreath.

As he was perched precariously with one leg on the higher step, the wreath fell over and, unfortunately, he did not have enough spare capacity in balance and range of movement to do anything about it in a graceful, gentlemanly manner.

At that point he was worried that he was perhaps millimetres away from splitting his trousers so he beat a hasty retreat, while at same time struggling with his flapping tie and ill-fitting jacket.

All for the cameras and the gullible switchers, so who cares if it just looked as if he dumped a bunch of leaves at a monument which to him is just a reminder of the achievement of people which he regards as enemies?

Could this be the reason this government is so double-you tea eff? They have so many 1970s relics in their cabinet.
