The engines were running continuously for well over three quarters of an hour whilst I was in the area, and probably they had been running from long before. A woman got into one of the cars eventually; most likely one of the government official’s wives who was no doubt on a shopping spree.

A passerby told the driver of the other car off about the running engine, warning him about the ozone layer. The driver gave the passerby an odd look, and went to call a guard from a nearby building to look at the passerby. I have no doubt that he was asking him what the ozone layer is.

Not only are these cars’ engines heating up the Earth in the process, but they are also eating up everyone else’s money.
