Do you not see that our politicians have built themselves a protective wall? Shall we phone their respective ‘customer care’ numbers? Shall we comment on their Facebook pages? That’s not the way a journalist would do it. Journalists have the luxury of Q&A sessions, interviews, a microphone, cameras, and (forced) deference by politicians.

As for writing stern letters to the papers, they’re simply not published.
