It is reasonable to conclude that his statement remains valid and not only because of the 4-year agreement Muscat signed with China in 2010.

As a citizen paying tax, I demand to see the invoice, the receipt and the cheque stub.

Rooms were going at 500 to 1,000 euros a night for five star hotels in Gozo over the Santa Maria weekend.

If they can afford that kind of money we need to ask HOW they can afford it. If they cannot afford it we need to ask whether they will be paying in kind and what form the payment will take.

If a journalist sleeps in a hotel and the management knows that she is writing about the hotel they will do everything in their power to influence the write-up.

Imagine what they would do to influence a prime minister and a tourism minister.
