Yana Mintoff is a chip of the old block. I was in England when she behaved so badly at a session of the House of Commons. The next day the British newspapers were full of condemnation. I could never understand why she was never deported back to Malta.
I scratch my head for further good intentions that hit Dom, but I cannot find another.

One thing that is often overlooked in the history books is that the very first victims of Nazism, before it even got organised, were the journalists. This happened in the 1920s, way before Hitler rose to power.

Fritz Gerlich was arrested just six weeks after Hitler became Chancellor. He died at Dachau in 1934. He wasn’t Jewish, or gay, or a Communist. He was just a journalist.

Daphne Caruana Galizia was questioned by the police just six hours before Joseph Muscat became Prime Minister.
