But there is a huge distance between level of knowledge of some, compared to the level of the simple villager.

You have great respect to simple people who keep to their roles and daily life. I too dislike persons who are the first to make a fuss of Malta monuments and drama and then, one finds that they are the first to abuse human rights in all forms.

One case example Mintoff u Jum Il-Helsien, where he was the first to walk over any form of freedom.

One must be prudent when one discusses national anthems and emblems coat of arms etc. These are national issues and when tampered, can cause severe damage to an already sick society.

Once someone brought out Germany as an example, just imagine the damage done ,just because the lyrics where excessive nationalistic “Deutschland Deutschland uber alles” to the point of hysteria.

Nowadays Germans know that to be great one has to work and move on. Their national identity is not for sale but anyone can adopt it should one feels like.

It is rather overblown and overdramatic for such a small island with such a population of cowards.
