There are different contexts and situations. Sometimes, after years (or even just hours) of being reasonable with certain people and arguing rationally, all you want to do is tell them to go and f**k themselves.

It doesn’t mean you’ve lost any argument. It just means you are sick and tired of them and want to communicate that.

The only difference is that the 2009 project included a yacht marina and the take-up of land was much less. Apparently the Italians lost interest and the MEPA application (PA/00118/09) was dropped.

Interestingly the 2009 project was promoted by, among others, Silvio Scerri, a former president of the sports club. We know who he is, of course.
