How we have the cheek to advertise Malta as a centre for the teaching of English is beyond me.

I’m not surprised, though. University of Malta lecturers and professors broadcasting on Campus FM are not much better, I’m afraid.

The awtoritijs must have been mesmerised by the similarity of her pronunciation to Michelle Muscat’s.

Perhaps that is why they seem to have overlooked the use of the nonexistent words heshe and himselfherself.

A prime example of ‘qrid’ in one of our official languages.
