Shortly afterwards, Ismayilova was arrested and held in custody until her recent trial. She has now been sentenced to seven and a half years in jail:

Someone should stick a microphone under Muscat’s fat chin and ask him, as a former journalist and a current prime minister of a democratic state, what he thinks of jailing reporters who expose their government’s wrong doing.
