It is obvious that Franco Debono does little or no actual work other than the occasional photo opportunity.

With Labour there is a growing culture of people expecting to be paid without doing any work.

I suspect there are hundreds in the civil service who receive payment for nothing, like for example mothers who do teleworking and ‘work’ from home.

This culture is greatly damaging to the civil service because it demotivates public officials who are hard working and also it puts in bad light people who are genuinely teleworking.

Franco Debono has been appointed and is being paid not because of his competencies, but because he collaborated with the Labour Opposition against the Nationalist government. Being paid for betrayal of his voters is moral corruption.
