Some pockets only have an inlet not an outlet. These are usually the pockets of those who rent their own car to their office, give a public job to the wife so that she can enjoy the perks even though she has not been elected and is a dismal public speaker, and give positions of trust to one’s weekend entertainer, wife’s friends, etc, etc.

One way pockets also reciprocated personal services rendered such as to the headmaster of the children’s school, by extending invitations to formal functions, thus avoiding having to give compensation personally for private services/concessions to the family.

As we have seen the Muscats are expert in being generous with other people’s taxes to bolster their own odds at re-election.
