Native Americans had alcohol before the colonisers arrived.

It was imported diseases and deliberate genocide which killed them off, not whisky.

How long is it going to take for a pipeline to Libya, or whatever politically expeditious deal Muscat gets for the Fenechs and Gasans – and whatever structural arrangement the loan guarantee is actually securing – to get their gas to West Africa, which is the real intention behind the whole “Power Station” deal, the “late delivery (har har),” and all the supposed trials and tribulations.

The discovery of Gas in Egypt is Muscat’s competition to supplying gas to West Africa.

The power station was never about Malta.

Just another massive lie.”

May I take the liberty of quoting from Joe FX Zahra’s timely blog in Newsbook on 27th August 2015.

‘We need a rethink on primary education where more time is spent on the imparting of values of honesty, justice, independence and integrity.

“We need children to rediscover the value of a frugal life and hard work and merit as well as the benefit of earning one’s living rather than depending on the state whether for a job or for a welfare benefit.

“We need children to be able to choose between what is right and what is wrong, what is genuine and what is false be it in relationships, in commerce, crafts and the arts.

“Our energies should be directed towards the more basic levels of education. Quality in higher education will follow naturally from the strengthening of values.’

I am sure by now many of us reason as Mr Zahra does. Thank you, Joe.
