I blame both. One for asking, the other for capitulating without question. The university is supposedly autonomous. It cannot be used for “national security” matters without consent.

Have they sent a memo out to the racist comment board elves and through Taghna Lkoll so as not to have the same embarrassing treatment some coloured 2005 CHOGM participants experienced in shops here in Malta repeat itself?

CHOGM 2015 should be a showcase of case-specific sanitised behaviour by this government; an interesting study in the depth, or otherwise, of their hypocrisy.

Both: the one for abusively issuing the instructions to a institution she is not in a position to order about, and the other for not standing up to those abusive people, and giving in instead.

So – not to cause disruption to the delegates at the meeting, all the thousands of people at university have their lectures and timetable disrupted instead, while parents are forced to take a day out of their holiday leave and stay home with children who are not able to go to school because the schools and the teachers union have obeyed the totalitarians.
