What makes this notice to staff more entertaining still is that it was sent out by a staff member at the Ministry of Education.

No wonder the use of English is in the state it is in. One more point- is the department employing minors?

The whole sentence is just so poorly written. ‘Going to be close for everyone for security reasons due to a conference that is going to be held’

I like the manner in which most Government managers pass the buck lest they get crashed by owning up to their responsibility. “Kindly note subjoined email”. Wonderful handling and crass loss of time and resources.
