Looks like the Prime Minister has taken Etienne Grech’s advice. He can’t possibly abandon his ‘salesman’ role and move to Greece himself. So he is sending one of the sharpest tools in his shed to help the Greeks out.

It is the deliberate denigration of institutions and offices by appointing to them people who clearly unfit for purpose.

It is a deliberate ploy of insult: “This is what I think of you/the role”.

That is what I call first class corruption.

Making Cuschieri ambassador is corruption because he has no qualifications for the job. Somebody else will have to do the job, that is at least more than one person is getting paid for the same job.

Squandering our tax money left right and centre. Arrogance first class. Government of musical chairs.
