I think we need to coin a word for this greed that knows no limits – for instance, ‘hamzir’ (hamallu u hanzir).

Don’t call on the Opposition to curb this abuse – it’s not their job.

Call on the democratically elected Labour Party Members of Parliament – all 39 of them – who currently have the power, and the duty, to act against abuse.

So what? Isn’t that what meritocracy is all about?

Toni Abela is the best lawyer in a crowded market, and the fact that he is deputy leader of the Labour Party is incidental.
