Why do the Head of State and her entourage wait for things to be spelled out to them post-disaster?

Daphne had been saying it for yonks.

Anyone else with an iota of sense and position knows that this is not what the Head of State should be entertaining herself with.

I did not say that she was appointed to the inquiry with malicious intent, but that she should be taken off it.

Yes, I do think she should resign. It is the obvious thing to do.

But then this is what happens when you appoint people to high office who are wrong for it. They never know what’s expected of them, in the job or when leaving it.

There are too many vested interests in Malta’s political system which hinder these things from emerging.

Now one hopes the Opposition takes the cue and pushes assiduously for the magistrate’s removal from this inquiry.
