Our laws have been promulgated by parliament that has always had a very good representation of the legal profession.

Political legislators in parliament, especially if they are also qualified as lawyers, should bear the brunt of criticism.

I am no journalist, but I have had to appear in court as a witness, and more than once I had to waste time and be inconvenienced due to postponements and delays, twice discovering that a postponement had been arranged without me, a witness, being informed.

The disease runs deep, but I do agree that when this is used to harass journalists, it assumes a more sinister character.

It’s either that logic is completely absent in their minds or they have been swallowed by their enormous ego.
