I don’t know Marlene Farrugia well enough, so I will take your word for it but still, even if she is fundamentally a good person – actually, specifically because she is a good person – she needs to decide where she stands.

In the beginning of this term of government, she could do it and expect things to change. But now that she has gone public with her criticism about various issues and nothing has happened regardless, she needs to decide where she stands.

Unfortunately I think it is too difficult for her to leave the Labour Party, but if she is not going to leave, then she cannot criticise as though she is not part of the party which she is criticising.

This is a crucial distinction.

Marlene Farrugia’s views are honest and so are her motives. Jeffrey Pullicino’s views were and remain dishonest and so, too, his motives.

I am pretty sure she knows exactly what she is doing.

It is the corrupt government that is selective.

Anyway she makes a very valid point.
