I was watching the news, I think Net News, and I was a little bit surprised seeing a lady handing the budget briefcase to Minister Scicluna as he got out of his official car to go to meet the President at the Palace.

It is glaringly obvious that the Finance Minister did not have the final version of the budget before he arrived at the Palace.

During the speech I noticed that there was some discussion between Scicluna and the buffoon next to him, who seemed more concerned with reading and sending text messages while every now and then banging on the table and putting up a show.

I didn’t watch the whole event.

That was a ‘genuine mistake’ in the title for last year’s Budget.
It should have read “Nippremjaw il-bazuzlija”. The error, of course, was on the printer’s part.

Nope, it definitely wasn’t a mistake. Eddy Privitiera accused Nationalist sympathisers/spies of deliberately uploading this wrong and misleading information.

And as you know, a man with this level of credibility can’t ever be wrong.

Last year’s Budget was called ” Nippremjaw il-bżulija” but all the Prime Minister did was reward the “bażużli”. Now he agains refers to the “roadmap” as if he has, or ever had, such a plan.

Could it be they were testing the waters with the first budget? On the social media there was a reasonable backlash especially about the restrictions on vintage cars.
