I heard these cars were hired along with their owners to chauffeur the delegates around. Is this true?

It seems any old thug with a BMW made the cut and now some of them are above the traffic laws.

Are our taxes paying these thugs who seem to be making a quick buck without any accountability?

The same thing almost happened to me at about 4:45pm just before the Kappara roundabout on the Regional Road direction St. Julian’s to Msida.

We first got a police outrider with the siren on. Then within seconds there was the President of Malta followed by three or four black cars, police cars, an ambulance, a car with Emergency Doctor written everywhere and many other policemen on motorbikes.

They just expected everyone to get out of the way when we were all in the traffic waiting to get the roundabout.

They almost pushed me onto another car on the inner lane and drove off towards the university tunnels in a carcade of flashing lights and sirens.

That BMW in the last picture nearly crashed into me at Triq Dawret San Pawl.

He was driving like a maniac and changing lanes without using an indicator too.

I was on a roundabout in Mosta when one of these silly little white cars with a blue light and horn blowing tried to force its way through.

My car is bigger, I don’t recognise the number plate so I just ignored it and carried on on my merry way.
