If memory serves me right, yours was a soft drink ad (“Xi ġmiel, kuntenti w ħfief …”), and Fred’s was from the Navarro and Clews company.

Coincidentally while I was driving home today I was reminded of the former actor’s voice in his young days by his son’s which is quite nearly a perfect copy when he’s acting particular sarcastic remarks.

I have seen very strong security measures in Greece, a country known for its regular public and sometimes violent protests, on the occasion of Malta’s signature of its Accession Agreement to membership in the EU, but what is happening in Malta now is over the top.
