The Queen only gets her information through her Privy Council, who get their information through the government, and through her private meetings with the British prime minister. Any government, in whichever country, gets its information about foreign countries through its embassies. I am pretty sure there is some filtering at the British High Commission. Not through malice. Part of it down to excessive trust in Malta's European credentials. The other part is misguided patriotism by the Maltese staff at the High Commission.

I believe that such transcripts be translated into English and published so that the world may understand what the Labour Party in Malta is made out of. I am sure the Queen will be too eager to know how LP MPs speak in parliament.
It a cowardly to hide behind the Maltese language.

Because they thought they were being democratic (in the other meaning of the word).

They didn’t only vote for them, but socialised with them and sought out their company. I always wonder what they spoke about over supper. “Maaaa, she’s really sweet and simple, miskina.”

At this rate, I shall become a total hermit, as the alternative is too irritating.
