Even though Joseph Muscat is the Prime Minister of Malta he is not by any stretch of the imagination representative of Maltese society.

His abuses have surpassed anything that Malta has seen in its independent life. Most of his scandalous appointments are not made known to Maltese society until they are discovered by some accident or scandal.

Maltese society will have the chance to show its true colours when it gets the power to react, that is at the next election.

If it keeps him as its prime minister then it will show that it is quite happy to endorse his behaviour which I would describe otherwise than odd or primitive – shamelessly amoral and self-seeking.
