Judging by the number of people going to this illegal venue that is a lot of money involved and a lot of VAT and income tax evaded.

I have know the Gaffarenas for many years and have known Marco Gaffarena since he was in nappies. I have never witnessed them giving anything to anyone for free or doing favours for anyone without the prospect of getting something in return.

These uneducated and ill-mannered people would not have made the millions they have by being charitable.

The problem is that his stories were handy for a time but in reality not worth that much. Someone shared in the spoils and no one is saying who.

Muscat says he’s waiting for advice on the original advice on the conclusions of a second inquiry that followed an original internal inquiry before he can sack the guy who was behind the wheel.
