It’s your way to escape an argument. Offending is provoking, and the offended has every right to react, in kind. Otherwise you assume a God given right to offend, without being offended.

That’s because people living in more sophisticated societies are able to distinguish between different forms of behaviour, and know how to define and identify bullying.

You, on the other hand, seem unable to distinguish between actual provocation, bullying, and people reacting to things which they don’t like which are said about them.
