For God’s sake, this is not a matter of opinion, Hypervalent. Just because they tell you that the course is expensive for them, it does not mean that they are paying non-EU citizen fees. If your friends are studying full time and they tell you that they are paying 10,000 euros to follow the course, they are having you on.

Read the table. You should be good at that.

EU citizens reading for a Master of Science full time in 2015/2016 pay a 400 euro enrolment fee and no tuition fee which means that tuition is absolutely free. EU citizens reading it part-time pay a 1,140 euro tuition fee per semester but they don’t pay the enrolment fee.

Some postgraduate courses, such as Doctor of Medicine and Surgery neither have an enrolment fee nor a tuition fee, reflecting society’s need for more people to read for these.

I personally know people who have followed different postgraduate courses in recent years and they either paid an enrolment fee or nothing at all.

Why don’t you just tell us your nationality and we can sort this out?

When I read for mine it was free, and when one of my sons read for his it was free too.

So it looks like things have changed since then, but quite frankly, those fees look pretty low compared to what you’d have to pay anywhere else.

In reply to Lolita. Post-grad studies are absolutely not free at University of Malta. At the very least, I am not aware of any such free ones, and if you are, please let me know, since I'm forking out around 10k for mine. Have a nice day :)
