That is not Muscat’s style. To me it seems that Muscat is simply using Franco Debono as a tool to needle the PN with. That is Muscat’s true style, making sure that he turns a liability into an asset and because he does not care a hoot about Debono he is free to mess with Debono’s head.

Who would put Debono to chair talks, while aware of all the irrational behaviour which we have seen from Debono, unless there is no genuine interest on the side of Muscat for any results from the talks.

Debono at loggerheads with the PN plays well for Muscat, it is not good news for anyone or anything but great for Muscat. So what does Muscat do? He does what is best for Muscat.

If the Nationalist Party stops objecting to Debono, Muscat will simply concoct some other excuse. The secret with Debono is to give him attention and importance and he’ll self-delude automatically.
