Errrr – what exactly do you think is happening in Malta?

The deputy leader of the Malta Labour Party dragged me through the Civil Courts for seven years for calling him a clown, and at least one member of the government is currently using the police to prosecute me in a criminal defamation suit that carries the possibility of a prison sentence.

And let’s not forget how I found four police officers at my gate at 1.30am in the Consuelo Herrera case, or how a senior officer from the Criminal Investigation Department, accompanied by another one from the Homicide Squad, turned up with an arrest warrant for me on the night before polling day in March 2013: because I had posted a ‘political’ video of Joseph Muscat on this website on the unconstitutional ‘day of silence’.
