I rather think the clerics would be in favour. They’re able to look at the general principle behind it all.

This idea that clerics must perforce be prudes in a final detail is a bit outdated. It’s the general principle of the source action that is under the lens, not the medium used to express a reaction to that source action.

They are both forms of unacceptable behaviour in any context, but more so for the roles occupied and the underlying thinking attached to the persons occupying the roles.

Both persons should be exemplary.

Both persons have failed their duty to be exemplary.

Helena Dalli not only fails that duty, but by her words makes a complete travesty of the role she is duty bound to protect and stand guard of before the nation.
