Is someone checking the amount of aviation fuel being used abusively by Michelle Muscat and the twins when they are dragged along to places where their presence is not necessary for Malta.

Ukraine 2011: The Opposition leader is arrested for criticising the courts.

Malaysia 2014: The Opposition leader is arrested after being found guilty of sodomy.

Russia 2015: The Opposition leader is arrested for promoting his rallies.

Venezuela 2015: An Opposition leader is gunned down.

China since 1949: Oh, wait, they don’t do Opposition.

Trumped up charges – is that the best you’ve got, Mr Prime Minister?

You know what? Forget about policies. This is not a normal election cycle. This is a battle for something much more fundamental; something which we have taken for granted since 1988.

2018 is about democracy and decency. No amount of ‘positive thinking’ is going to change that.

This was bound to happen sooner or later. Labour will continue to resort to desperate measures and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The reality is, however, that slimy tactics are rather see-through and will only help Simon Busuttil’s growing stature.
