Only a cheat and a fraud would unashamedly make the promises he made before the election, knowing full well that he had no road map and the only way he could bring in the cash was to sell all he could.

He sized up the population, or more likely had someone do the exercise for him, and found out that the people believe their ears even when logic tells them that things do not add up.

Tens of his empty promises later, he was in a position to put his minions in every major position and now literally controls each and every aspect of what goes on and what gets known and who gets sued.

Actually Joseph has been proved to be a cheat and fraud long ago. Unfortunately, the majority saw that too late.

An honest man would have checked all official cars’ fuel expenses before saying anything about this case. There have been enough cases reported of ministers, members of parliament and other high officials using official cars and drivers for private and personal needs.

How about checking what expenses (paid for by the government) have been incurred by Michelle Muscat not only on fuel for the car but for all the UNOFFICIAL travel when she does not hold an official position.

The Speaker has allowed his office to be used as a smokescreen by the government to tarnish the Leader of the Opposition.

But then in which other democracy would parliament elect someone who describes Azerbaijan`s elections as “fair, democratic and transparent”, as its Speaker?
