One question: The prime minister’s wife may be the prime minister’s wife but for some reason neither the gunner nor his superiors felt bound by confidentiality in her regard. Why?

Why does everyone persist in calling them “gunner” or “bombardier”? In this context, the right word is “soldier”.

Also, if we’re going to use “gunner” it should be capitalised.

The brigadier calling the gunner stupid.

The whole thing is so tagħna lkoll, and wrong on so many counts, that I don’t even know where to start.
