On the contrary, Skype: no pain, no gain. As MacTaylor points out, the economy is all Jowzef has left. It’s his fig-leaf. Everything else – (in no particular order) security/the army/the police/manufacturing/public transport/corruption/the environment/zero wage growth – which would cost a normal government votes big-time, has somehow been squeezed out of sight behind the economy. Albeit financed by funny money and fuel taxes, until that goes, Jowzef remains likely to win in 2018.

I would much rather live up to my moniker for a while and know that this load of shite are out on their ear. Nothing teaches like pain. When we were promised so many carrots, a stick hurts all the more.
