In a civilised world political parties would have condemned last Sunday’s protest. In Malta we don’t, we might have become more affluent when it comes to income….but the mindset of the majority is still in caves.

No two ways about it. The unilateral application of the freedom to practise one’s religion restrictively in Malta (and other Christian nations) but not in Muslim countries is an insidious ploy that promotes the spread of Islam worldwide by the violent means dictated by a Koranic Jihad and that is being pursued actively by ISIS, the Taliban etc. That scheme assists violent Islam directly. Indirectly it supports the agenda of atheism in its various disguises, e.g. humanism, liberalism, the enlightenment etc.

It gives solid backing to his assertion that Malta’s religion is Roman Catholic.

Dumb followers ask simple questions of the sort: “Is Pisani right or wrong?” and expect simple single clause, preferably single word, answers.

If you can answer “No” to that question, then you may get their attention.

That’s the clout his dumb followers are interested in. The fact that there’s a “but” is immaterial to them.

Or maybe they could have a second space, maybe a bit closer to where they work, so that they can have their Friday prayers and not be inconvenienced by a long drive, like we all would if we were in their position.

I never equated Islam with Christianity. In fact I personally dislike present day Islam much more than present day reformed Catholicism. But that is not any reason to suppress religious freedom.

That’s true, but only because the lawyers were ultimately answerable to Westminster. Left to their own devices, they’d have turned Malta into Italian territory. Nowadays they tell me “Imma ahna konna minn familja Stricklandjana, Baxxter.” Yes, and I believe them.

Their grandfathers were living it up in the Casino Maltese and discussing questions of alta politica while mine were manning the guns around Grand Harbour. May they rot in hell.

Yes Jozef, it’s personal. Even if they claim to be on the same side, the truth is they never gave a shit about the common people. It was all about themselves and their damned self-importance.

I have stopped thinking about the big questions. I no longer recognise my own country. I don’t even know who we are or what we claim to be.

Fascism is anti-religion and Fascists are anything but ashamed. It is the brazen exaltation of totalitarianism and the voluntary collective annihilation of individual humanity.

If you think branding someone fascist makes them fascist, suit yourself.

That may well be the case, and yet it is no good reason to confuse matters further by not describing as fascis what is clearly (politically) fascist.

And incidentally, if fascists are so ashamed and/or offended upon being dedcribed as fascists, perhaps they should refrain from thinking, speaking and acting such.
