My argument, such as it may be, is based on the fact that a public argument like this, viewed from a different setting is, at it’s basic level, quite amusing. I do not expect you to agree, and am not trying to convince you, but Franco Debono’s position is not the point. It adds to the surrealism of it all.
I respect, an admire that you have used other avenues to point out the banality of the situation that someone with his issues is in this position. Your posts on the subject make the point very well. My opinion, valid maybe only to myself, is that you need not engage him in such a public argument. Let him self-destruct. And remain above that level of a shouting match, albeit virtual. Otherwise, I reiterate that it makes you part of the banality.
My perception and opinions are influenced by seeing this from a different emotional and physical context and surroundings. I, in no way, would attempt to say that my views would be agreed with.
