You see my point. The direction of political switching in Malta (the public kind, not private polling booth stuff) goes one way, and it’s quite unusual among European democracies. Malta is congenitally Laburista. The national narrative is Labour.

After all they should not be organised to preach for the converted.

Naturally I also ask myself why Karl Stagno Navarra was there. Did Pullicino Orlando drag him there? Did he applaud Muscat or was he just a passive and objective listener?

I used to go to listen to Mintoff’s meetings even though I was alraedy dead set to vote PN.
