In reply to giobatta agnello. You touch upon a delicate subject there. It's not just Joseph Muscat who believes, or claims to believe, in trickle-down economics. This is the basis of the liberal economic ideology behind every Maltese government since 1987.

Ahh! but you forget that Muscat believes in trickle down economics. The money paid to cronies will be spent by them and those who are not cronies and must be eternally grateful for small mercies will eventually benefit. A rising tide lifts all boats, you see, or so the saying goes. If you believe in this outdated concept, that is.
