The refugee crisis has caused a rift within her party and may yet be her downfall but although she is pragmatic, she has stood firm about being hospitable and following international laws. Some things you just don’t compromise about and it seems to me that she is ready to go down fighting over the issue.

You cannot but admire her. She is the one current politician I will follow to the gates of hell. She will give Satan himself a bollocking before bringing him in line.
