I can truly understand what you mean. I know a couple of people, men in particular, just like the Law Commissioner. They’re interested in is how to improve their status, connections, finances. They see other people only as a means to their ends. Sex doesn’t come into it at all.

There are instances when they try to give the impression that they could get close to another human being, but then again, it’s only to to serve themselves in any way, and not for sexual encounters. The people I know also need to be constantly uplifted by posting on Facebook, and having people sing their praises.

Although very intelligent, they are unable to have a human connection. Sad people, very very sad.

Some men, strangely enough, like being whipped and get their highs there. When wives refused to oblige, they’d turn to prostitutes too, who’d get paid to whip. It takes all sorts. And a couple of notable (?) high profile cases amongst the known names.
