I hear that after yesterday’s Xarabank, BBC’s Stephen Sackur of Hard Talk may lose his place to Xarabank’s interviewer with the silly hairstyle, who only served as a platform for Dr Falzon to put his side of the case without the need to field any really uncomfortable questions.

The new style Labour Party syllogism (according to Xarabank):

1. Christ was crucified for our sins, literally;

2 Michael Falzon was crucified, metaphorically for (a) his sins, (b) Muscat’s sins, (c) Gaffarena’s sins, or (d) anybody else’s sins e.g. Lands Department employees.

3 Therefore, the illogical, blasphemous conclusion (or innuendo) is that Falzon is like Christ.
