The people of Malta should be forever grateful that Daphne cares and is unafraid to use her skills and other sources/resources to diligently research (which must at times take hours), to uncover and report about political and public corruption, injustices, maladministration, lies and much much more.

In addition, through this blog she has given Joe Public the opportunity to voice their opinions, to freely criticise, and to hold the arrogant, the powerful and the ignorant to account.

In my opinion, Daphne is the only journalist In Malta who is willing and unafraid to tell the stories that others won’t, or don’t, want you to know about.

I’d rephrase that. If in Malta we had more people, in all sectors of life – journalists or not – of Daphne’s calibre, and of the calibre of some of her readers (Baxxter comes to mind, but there are several others), Malta would not be in the mess it is in.
