I wouldn’t be too enthusiastic about the guillotine. It was used by the ideological forefathers of this lot to eliminate the only thing people that stood between them and absolute power. They won. Which is why we find ourselves in this mess.

No. The Romanians, bless them, showed us the way. The Libyans too, and with great gusto. But that’s an option we cannot choose.

Joseph Muscat is still young. He has at least another forty years of life before him. That’s a very long time. He won’t be prime minister at eighty.

It’s worse than down the drain. Had they thrown the money away it would have been better. Instead they used the money to deface Auberge de Castille and the square in front of it. After all the hard work and debate put into clearing out the area in front of the PM’s office we spent a quarter of a million to place a big turd in front of this beautiful building.
