I know that this might sound like a stupid question but it’s worth asking anyway: did the Russian woman or her friends try to contact her by sending her a message on Facebook?

In reply to Saskia. Russian speakers are on to it. Those comments from Busuttil ("Love you Lar") are not designed to tell her he loves her. They are aimed at telling his audience that he loves her (because he doesn't).

Daphne, you posted a photo of her parents. Any way you can try to get in touch with them? Her Facebook page says little about. And the few comments are from Anthony telling her how much he loves her!!!!

I know for a fact that this bastard Anthony Busuttil is really and truly a control freak who will not stand being crossed in any way. Four or five years ago, his oldest son (now aged 40) left to start his own jewellery business, and ‘Tony’ was so livid that he had his lawyer write to all his business partners, informing them that he was suing his own son for ‘stealing’ his business contacts.

Can anyone seriously say now that this man can ever be a good father to this little boy , and that he is by any stretch of the imagination a better parent than this boy’s own mother?

Apart from all this, does anyone know the circumstances under which Larisa Leontieva first came to Malta? Why do I get this niggling feeling that white slavery played a part in this story? She was kept in isolation, and is obviously terrified of her ex-partner; both seem extremely suspicious circumstances.

Information about how the two met would definitely throw more light on the whole situation.
