You can do it yourself. School is a very minor part of a child’s education, as you can see all around you. People talk about the failure of the education system, but the real failure is in parenting.

I do indeed. And I did express myself badly (like a nervous new mother, sorry). What I meant by ‘live’ is that we don’t immerse kids in a subject; we don’t relate the subject to real life; we don’t bring topics/subjects/curriculum to life. It’s all very book-based and rote-learning. And this worries me.
