Oh, that’s the 21st-century, middle-aged equivalent of bitching in huddles at Neptunes and Sliema Pitch (“Maaaa, let me tell you….maaaa, do you know what….maaaa what a bitch she is eh, do you want to know what she said…”). That’s what happens when women grow up together from the cradle to the grave on a titchy island where the group of people they can or will mix with is even titchier. I mean honestly, how do you socialise at 50 with nobody but the women you socialised with at five? They will turn on and peck to death (or try to) anybody who won’t conform. And to make matters worse, they have little to no education but a tonne of arrogance and envy.

In reply to Paul Skinback. You did the same thing I was going to do but you saved me the time. CARI seems to have been part of the long-thought-after plan to abduct the child, intimidate his mother, leaving poor Larisa Leonitieva in a vulnerable situation, in shock and without her son. How cruel.

I commented on CARI’s facebook page about the incident informing CARI that the boy they rescued is now – thanks to them – in the custody of a wife-beating xenophobe. I asked them what was their take on the matter.

After a couple of hours someone deleted the comment and blocked me from commenting on their page.

You say that loads of people on Facebook give their support to Anthony Busuttil. That is like saying that loads of people support Franco Debono because many people write on his Facebook page that they like him, praise him, support him, etc.

On this website, there are more comments in support of Larisa and Daphne’s analysis of the situation than otherwise.
The comments on this case show up a weakness in a large number of people: they are too quick to jump to conclusions before they hear both sides of the argument, but then they just as quickly change sides when the details begin to emerge.

CARI publicized the case themselves, despite their assurances that they respect their clients’ privacy. Adam Busuttil is not a client so his privacy matters little to his reabductors.
