Baxxter is a man.

That isn’t a target on Muscat. That’s a ring to highlight his frown.

Sorry, but it was not that type of assumption. It’s the way the person writes that pointed me in that direction. Maybe it’s just the fact that the name minhexa mexa is more of something you would hear a man say rather than a woman, or even the fact that you see a man’s face beside (even though it’s Muscat with a target – the target also gives me that vibe) I don’t know.

On the other hand many assume that Baxxter is a man but his writing sometimes makes me suspect there is a female behind the alias or maybe Baxxter is more than one person. Anyway, I don’t like aliases at all. I use my name and surname and make sure that whatever I say online, I can stand by and I can live with. I wish more people could do the same or feel free to do the same.

Forget it. Transport Malta will never answer you. Roughly two years ago I have emailed them twice and then written them a letter. Up till today I never received an answer.

The implication there is that women can’t be rational, logical, clear-headed and stick to the point – that this is ‘male’ thinking and ‘male’ communication style. Well, maybe in Malta, but not anywhere else in the developed world.

Oh, and the majority of Maltese men of my acquaintance have minds and communication styles that are no different to those of their wives.

And I invite you to read the columns, letters, and ‘opinion pieces’ in the newspapers published in Malta to see just how logical, rational and clear-thinking men are, and how concise their use of language is.

It’s a man as much as I am. No, it’s a woman.
